Dear colleagues,

At the beginning of the year, RIPE Atlas users started encountering delays in 
data retrieval and an overall drop in the responsiveness of the system. With 
service having gone back to normal earlier this month, we take a look at what 
caused the problem and what we're doing prevent it from happening again:
