Let me provide some information about the v5 probes, as it seems some of
you are interested in the details :-)
The technical bits: the probes are derived from Turris Mox, "simplified"
to match our need (e.g. no WiFi). The specs include: Marvell Armada 3720
CPU, 4GB eMMC, 512MB RAM, 1Gb ethernet, microUSB power.
A few of these are up and running already, hosted by testers (incl. some
staff). We are gearing up to start distributing them via the usual
channels (applications, ambassadors, sponsors, ...)
We do not (yet) recommend "upgrading" form earlier probes, as long as
those still work. Of course we're always interested in new
locations/networks to cover, so feel free to propose that! :-)
