The PC has the same thing (and my work no longer pays for RIPE, so I
am paying for it completely out of pocket).

While I would definitely love any financial assistance with the
meeting, last time it came up, we had a discussion about RIPE not
being a normal conference, and how the cost of a RIPE ticket does not
cover the costs of the meeting by far.

Basically I'm neutral on the idea -- I'd love it if it happens, but
knew what I was signing up for and am okay if it does not.
