We had an employee signing-in at a conference in a major European
capital 2 years ago and when he put down his wallet and phone on the
conference check-in table, the person behind him in line grabbed the
phone and wallet and ran out, with him and the conference organizers
sitting behind the table in utter shock.  This happened pre-badge
assignment, so the RIPE advisory would not have helped in this case either.
