Hi all,

I wanted to do some research into the ripe document series, but I could not
find a repository which contains all ripe documents in one format. For instance
the ripe FTP repo [0] contains some documents in plaintext (txt), and some in
postscript (ps) and PDF (pdf).

Initially I thought this was because the postscript and PDF files contained
diagrams and/or tables and thus were harder to render in text (explicitly _not_
trying to start an ASCII art flame war here), but then there are documents such
as ripe-74 which is only available in Postscript/PDF, but contains no diagrams.
Later, roughly starting from 2006 onward and getting quite prevalent in 2014,
there is a trend to almost solely post ripe documents as PDF files.

Is there a document that outlines the formatting standard? Or is there another
repository which contains all documents in plaintext?

Thanks in advance,

Niels

PS I have done some casual searching about this topic on the mailinglists and
the website, but if I have overlooked a thread/doc on this topic, feel free to
just point me there!
