Dear colleagues,

The COVID-19 era has seen many major Internet community events move fully
online (including RIPE 80, many regional and national NOGs, and RIPE 81 later
this year). What does that shift means for how Internet communities work and
interact, particularly if circumstances require that we continue with this
approach beyond the short-term?

The RIPE NCC and LINX are co-hosting a webinar next Tuesday 30 June at 15:00
(CEST) entitled "Let’s Go Virtual!”.

Nurani Nimpuno and I will moderate the hour-long session, with speakers
including Edward McNair, Executive Director of NANOG, Adam Peake, ICANN Global
Stakeholder Engagement, and Fergal Cunningham, who’ll speak a bit about the
experience of taking RIPE community events fully online. But the hope is that
we’ll have an active discussion with input from across the community.

If you’re able to join, please register here:

Best regards,
Chris
