I have been delighted to have had both the privilege of being the junior member of the RIPE Chair Team since September 2020, and the pleasure of working with Mirjam. However, on grounds both of age and of available energy, I believe it inappropriate for me to be nominated as a potential member of the next RIPE Chair Team. I encourage every potential nominee for the RIPE Chair Selection Process not to hesitate, as the RIPE NomCom needs a rich pool of nominees in order to do their job well.
