We are seeing what appears to be a media campaign to get the RIPE NCC to change its position on certain issues and to create doubts about our neutrality. This article represents a new low point, in that it targets individual staff members by name. We ask that you do not repost clearly defamatory articles.
We have staff from over 40 countries, who set aside personal affiliations when carrying out their duties because they believe in our mission. Our staff also make an effort to maintain lines of communication with authorities in all the countries in our service region, something that is increasingly difficult at times like these. I would like to reiterate that the RIPE NCC, its Executive Board and its staff are committed to remaining neutral and to serving our membership and community with integrity.
