Check the position of the error, with my drive I see sync errors on maybe 10% of CDs at the very end of the last track. As far as I can tell this occurs in the silence at the end and does not affect the music. Under EAC options I cleared the option to skip the track on read and sync errors, and under Drive options I cleared the Over-read option and this allows the track to pass through to post processing. I check that any errors are right at the end of the track and visually verify the checksum produced from the check and extract runs (using the Test & Copy method) and ditch extractions which do not have a matching checksum.
