Yes, the first pass through your collection will be rather painful!
One of the reasons I ported it to Windows was that my server is a twin
P3/1GHz machine, but my desktop machine (Windows-based) has a P4 3.4Ghz
with hyper-threading. It runs lame much more quickly than the server!
