I've got lots of old LPs released two on a CD. Lots of Kingston Trio, a fair number of old bluegrass albumes, etc. > I'm thinking of treating them as two albums in my HDD based collection > by tagging the individual files with different ALBUM and DATE tags, but > I'll be damned if I'm not wrestling with the decision. Or maybe a theological one. IMHO, they were recorded and released as LP "albums" and that is how they belong. It is how the producer and mastering engineers made it. CDs are just the delivery medium used for a short time, from the mid 1980s until the mid 2000s. These days, CD players are either free or thrown in as minor features of DVD players, which sell for way under $100. CDs are history. -- Pat http://www.pfarrell.com/music/slimserver/slimsoftware.html _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list ripping@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/ripping
