What if you play with the File Types in Server Settings to force FLAC to be streamed as WAV and then WAV as FLAC? You ought to be able to isolate where the problem's occuring. Appologies if you've already been through all that Andy, but it's not clear from your post. The bug seems to relate to decoding 24 bit FLAC files within the SB2, which seem different from what you're suggesting.
