Sure it's possible that it's corruption, but in that case you'd usually
see other weird side effects, sounds like everything else is working
fine in this case. My guess is that some of the names look the same but
the tags are unicode and it's using glyphs from other character sets
which look identical. But maybe not :)  The actual output from a dir
would be interesting to see.
