I tried ripping the first and last tracks off a few CDs using Feurio and
EAC, then I compared the .wav outputs.  EAC only rips at about 6-8X
average, and Feurio rips at about 20X average using the same CD, the
same CDROM drive, in the same computer.

When I compare the results, the is always a single difference usually
in the last 5 sec or so of the file, and it says the length is
different at some specific time point.

Does anyone have a clue what this means?

I'd sure rather rip at 20X that 6-8X....  I'm getting ready to do about
600 CDs!
