Unless you have a VERY large scanner, there is really no option other than scanning the cover in pieces, and then assembling them in Photoshop, or an equivelent.
I tried this with three LPs I ripped. Between messing with the gain to limit clipping while ripping; attempting to remove hiss, pops and clicks; fading tracks in and out; and finally scanning and stiching the cover together in Photoshop, I found it took me about 10 hours to rip an LP. Quite painful. I resolved to repeat the horror only for a select few LPs no longer in print. Just thought of this ... have you tried a Google Image search? -- jonheal Jon Heal says: Have a nice day! http://www.theheals.org/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------ jonheal's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2133 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=20098 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/ripping
