I am using the debian files made available here. In the file /etc/convert.conf, I changed the "ogg mp3" entry to
ogg mp3 * * [oggdec] -Q -o - -R $FILE$ | [lame] --resample 44100 --silent -q $QUALITY$ --abr $BITRATE$ -r -x - - #ogg mp3 * * # [sox] -t ogg $FILE$ -t raw -r 44100 -c 2 -w -s $-x$ - | [lame] --resample 44100 --silent -q $QUALITY$ --abr $BITRATE$ -r - - Actually, I just uncommented the first one, and commented the second one in the file.
