I recently purchased the Squeezebox2, and would like to know how to
create and burn a regular audio CD (for playing in my car’s CD player)
from the various playlists that I have created.

I am using Windows Media Player v10.0 to rip my CDs to my computer’s
hard drive. I am ripping the CDs to the Windows Media Audio format at
192 Kbps. Everything is working fine. I have created some playlists
using slimserver, and the playlists are stored in
\My Music\Playlists with the extension .m3u, and appear in the folder
with the Windows Media Player icon. The playlist plays just fine on my
Squeezebox2, but if I double click on the icon I receive the following
error:

“Windows Media Player encountered an unknown error. This can occur
when another program or operating system component encounters a problem
but does not communicate the nature of the problem to the player.”

After I click OK, Windows Media Player then successfully comes up and
displays the playlist name in the main window, but no other information
can be queried / shown. So clearly, this is not really a WMA compatible
file. So can someone there please explain to me how to create and burn
a regular audio CD from a slimserver / Squeezebox2 playlist?

Thanks,

Jon
