OK, I found the reason: SlimServer is not listing artists if the album information is missing...
What really bugs me is that SlimServer never finds all my songs: As I wrote in my original post, I have 20348 songs in my library. After the initial scan, only one was missing (SlimServer showed 20347). Now, after a complete rescan, it shows 20332. Can anyone explain, why it doesn't find all my songs? Did anyone have similar problems?
