I am running 6.2.2 - just got it this past weekend. I have no problem getting the FLACs to play. And they show up in Slimserver. The problem is that even though they seem to have complete tags, they show up in Slimserver as by "No Artist." But On J River when I pull up the tag info the Artist field is definitely filled in.
