Hold on a second. I see what you are trying to do here, but a better option would be to rip to a format that properly supports 'gapless' playback (MP3 does not), such as Ogg Vorbis or FLAC. The single tracks will them playback just as they did on the original CD, with gaps where there should be and no annoying gaps or clicks where the transition should be seemless.
Do pay any money either!
