To answer jth's question, these are FLAC files and the tapgs are the
ones generated by EAC (Ist that ID3? Sorry, I'm not that knowledgeable
about tags).

I was able to get the bulk of my library back into the database by
selecting all songs and putting them on the playlist. Not sure why that
worked! Never had to do it before.

So that leaves me with the 700 songs that seem never to have been
tagged. Thinking about it, there was a stretch when I did my ripping
from wav first and then used EAC to encode to FLAC and I think maybe it
didn't tag them. Later I went to letting EAC kick off the encode and
that went better.

So I can use Foobar2000's tag editor to manually input the tag data. I
get a bit of a break because I can cut and paste the data from the
first song of each album and then just change tracknumber and title.
But please tell me there's an easier way to just read the data from the
filename (it's all there except genre, which I could live without).
