I think I have found the answer - Slimserver doesn't seem to be picking
up any more GENRE tags after the comment[9] field in the Vorbis
metadata block.

The track shown below had all three GENREs listed in the database,
which, together with the situation described above, suggests that it
stops looking at comment[9].

Can anyone confirm whether this behaviour has changed in later versions
of Slimserver?
