This seems about the best forum for this odd question. What are the minimum and maximum temperatures that CDs can be stored at without damage? For that matter, how about DVDs and computer and general consumer electronics equipment? In a couple months I'll be moving far away from my home for (I hope) 3-5 years, but storing a lot of stuff here. Much of it will be stored in my garage, but I'm uncertain about the above mentioned items with regard to temperature extremes. It's typically mild where I live, but summer temperatures can reach 100 degrees F, while in winter it can occasionally get down to 0 (F). Due to its orientation, the garage does stay somewhat cooler than that maximum, although I'm certain that it will actually dip down to that extreme low in the winter.
Will my stuff survive those occasional extremes, or should I get a small climate controlled storage unit somewhere? -- eq72521 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ eq72521's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1512 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=25128 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/ripping
