Well, this is going to depend on the burning software you are using, and what kind of "CD" you are trying to create. My first guess, though, is that you have asked the burning software to create an "Audio CD" - in which case it would ignore your art and tags, convert the MP3s back to WAV, and create a standard red book audio CD. If you are trying to create a data CD which contains the MP3s and Art files and anything else, you will need to tell it to create a Data CD (which of course won't play in a standard CD player).
