Hi, (fortunately) I have no windows machine to test with. But I'm running a linux workstation with a solaris-based slimserver so I always thought my setup was exotic enough :)
Another user reported memory related problems. So I've uploaded a new version (http://www.dsnine.com/jsq/jsq-export.jar (new url!)) which uses the thumbnails instead of the cover.jpgs. But I'm still not understanding the problem you're facing. It sounds to me that my tool gets stuck when downloading a cover from the slimserver. The slimserver http-server is single-threaded by default (only one request per time) which explains why you can't get another cover from it during that time. I will try to offload the image download routine away from the pdf generation . I will do it in an extra step and then store the images in temporary files. It should be easier to debug and tune that way. I hope to get a version running in the next hours.
