After I posted that last message, I noted that Skunk had already posted a link to his answer which was basically the same thing.
I had looked at that thread previously and it had a lot of really confusing comments including how to calculate the number of sectors in a wave file, so I kind of spaced it out when I saw the link to the same thread. I'm really glad it's working well now. I'm pretty pleased with EAC. Really pretty well automated way to rip, compress, tag and volume level all in one shot. (Thanks to the command line options in the EAC setup WIKI.) I simply copied and pasted them...no in depth understanding required fortunately.
