To use these binaries, you need: 1). An Intel Pentium 4 or Pentium M or core single or core duo or core 2 duo. I don't think any AMD CPUs will work. Sorry. 2). The libmmd.dll and "maybe" the libguide40.dll installed to the same folder that you put the flac.exe and metaflac.exe files.
Those two dlls are actually Intel binaries (i.e. not compiled by me) that the Intel linker requires. According to Intel, the libguide40.dll is the "OpenMP library" -- perhaps that stands for multi-processor support? The libmmd.dll seems to be a math library. All the rest of the binaries (the .lib files and the other .dll files) are for "developers" and are not required for flac.exe for metaflac.exe to run. You can delete them, if you wish. All the stuff in libFLAC.dll is already "statically" linked into the EXEs. -- gharris999 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ gharris999's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=115 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=30513 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/ripping
