Thanks for the reply. I am using Win XP. I am not sure what Debian is. All I need is for Slimserver to be able to detect my folders and files named in Chinese characters under Windows Explorer. All my song files have ID3v2.3 in Chinese and Slimserver can display them correctly in Chinese. But it is the detecting part which Slimserver seems to fail.
