Without explicitly telling SlimServer that this is _not_ a compilation
(by using COMPILATION=0 on Flac files) it will see this album as a
compilation and file it with Various Artists. There are a numbers of
bugs filed where people feel that having an explicit ALBUMARTIST (or
BAND, since they seem to be roughly equivalent in SlimServer) for the
album should preclude it from being recognized as a compilation. I
think that's a valid line of reasoning.

So, use COMPILATION=0 on your Flac files for this album to override
SlimServer's current behavior. I tag every track in my library with
either COMPILATION=0 or 1, but it should only really be necessary on
these albums where you want to circumvent SlimServer's normal
behavior.

If you're trying to do the same with mp3 files, though, it's not quite
as simple. The mp3 counterpart to the COMPILATION tag is the TCMP tag,
which is an iTunes invention. The trouble with it is that iTunes either
adds the TCMP tag when it tags an album as a compilation or it _drops_
the tag altogether when it's not. You can't explicitly say "this is
not a compilation". The tagger that I use, Mp3tag, refuses to write a
TCMP frame with a value of 0. I'm not even certain how SlimServer
would interpret this - it too may treat the very presence of the tag as
saying "this is a compilation". There is a workaround, though -
SlimServer seems to read flac-style tag names from TXXX (user defined)
frames in id3v2. So you can use a TXXX of COMPILATION=0 frame if you
tagger can create one - Mp3tag does this easily when you use
COMPILATION=0 in an id3v2 tag.
