Hard to say because I've pretty much done it from day one with every CD I ripped. Tagging an album is usually a matter of 30 seconds or so, including cover art. gusi Wrote: > Does it do album covers as well? Yes, for about 99% of albums I've tagged allmusic.com has included cover art. gusi Wrote: > Which database did you think had the best/most consistent tags? allmusic and musicbrainz both seems to be pretty damned accurate and consistent. The advantage musicbrainz has over the mp3tag/allmusic approach is that you can to a large extent automate the tagging process whereas the mp3tag/allmusic.com approach requires some manual intervention. The reason I stick with the latter approach is because I get to save albumreview, mood and style information, which I sometimes like to refer to (I keep kidding myself that at some point I'm going to find that useful :P). allmusic's database also tends to be more complete in that if you cannot find something on musicbrainz you can usually find it in allmusic. -- egd Linux and loving IT! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ egd's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3425 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=31751 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/ripping
