Thanks for the help. Apparently, it also did not like the space in the
middle of the path name ("Program Files"), so what I did to get it to
work was embed the double quotes inside of single quotes:
our $flaccmd = '"c:/Program Files/FLAC/flac.exe"';
our $lamecmd = '"c:/Program Files/LAME/lame.exe"';
I was able to transcode one directory and it looks good. I will try to
transcode all of the flac files and report back.
