I use Slimserver and Softsqeeze to play MP3s etc on my laptop. I was recently given a hard-drive with about 150gb of assorted music (mostly crap but a few gems!) all in MP4. These play fine through Softsqeeze, but when I edit the ID3 tags, Slimserver ignores the edits. I am using Media Tagger and Tag&Rename to bulk-edit, which both work fine on MP3, WMA, WAV and FLAC, but not MP4. Although the editing appears to work, when I rescan the library in Slimserver, all the old categories etc come up. Any ideas, anyone?
