I starting to get quite a collection of songs that I have downloaded from the itune store on my kids' imac. Is the native format of these downloaded files lossless? For example, when I burn a cd from these downloaded songs, and then encode that cd into flac on my other computer (the one I run slimserver from), have I already suffered a loss of data?
