I was fiddling around and found one way to deal with the situation I described:
- In EAC Options/Tools, make sure "On extraction, start external compressors... " is UNchecked. - Extract WAV file using Image/Cue - Use Tools/Cut WAV file - If you wish, you can then Tools/Compress WAVs A fair amount of work...
