Regarding tagging for a compilation album:
- Set ARTIST on each track to the real artist for that specific track
- Set COMPILATION tag to 1
- Set ALBUM to the compilation album name (Same for all tracks on the
same compilation album)
- Set all other tags not related to this, like TITLE, YEAR, GENRE
- Make sure that all tracks for the same compilation album is stored in
the same directory.
This should give you a menu structure like this if you have selected
"Group compilation albums together" in "Server Settings/Behaviour":
