Hi all, new boy here! I searched for this but couldn't find an answer, hence the post
I rip all of my CDs using CDex 1.7 beta 2. The rip settings are as below - as far as I know I've got the latest Lame.dll installed - I couldn't find a later version anywhere So by my reckoning the settings will make the resulting mp3s constant bit-rate. However, my SqueezeBox lists them as 320kbps VBR. Not a problem, they sound plenty good enough for my ears, but mroe of a curiousity.
