I almost asked earlier if the cue sheet was needed for exact copies. Nikhil reported in the HDCD thread that HDCD>FLAC>Burrrn==HDCD, but the flag is in the LSB not the pretrack gaps or other tricky parts. Sorry for not doing a proper search, but does the above workflow pass checksum, or only nearly so- as you indicated?
