If this is a "native" 5.1 channel WMA file it will not play on the SqueezeBox. It might play the front 2 channels but I doubt it. If it contains avalid DTS stream within the WMA it cannot be a lossy WMA file (it would have to be lossless, but the DTS stream held within would be lossy). And it would have to feed a receiver or preamp that would decode it (DTS). Getting DTS streams off DVD's or DVD-A is not trivial. See other threads on this.
