On Linux AAC lossy has to be decoded nornally using "faad" instead of mov123 which is used on Windows & Apple OSX. If you are using SSODS then you will be able to use mplayer-stdout to decode AAC instead. You will need to change convert.conf file to use mplayer-stdout.
