I've started re-tagging my music using PicardQT (0.9.0alpha11) and now I'm about half way through, I thought I'd try clearing out slimserver (6.5.2 - 12047 - Windows XP) and re-scanning with what I've done so far. However, I've encountered a wierd problem. My music library contains 301 albums with 3488 songs but according to slimserver - only 9 artists!!! If I drill down using the web interface, the artist information appears to be correct at album or track level. I've scanned the same files into MusicIP and everything is perfect i.e. 181 artists. Has anyone had a similar problem? Any suggestions on how to fix it will be very welcome.
