Yes, after you're done ripping you can add album gain to the entire library in one shot. Either foobar2000 or Robin's most excellent apply_replaygain.pl script will do this for you. It can take a bit of time, depending on the size of your library and the speed of your processor. But it takes a lot less time than ripping, and zero human intervention once you get it going.
