What do you mean by a sub-version client? Can I just download all the files in /trunk and copy them to the same locations as found on my computer as located in v2.7? I would be happy to volunteer as a beta tester. I want to have at least 192k bitrate and probably vbr-new if you recommend this. I would like to know what the default values for each switch is in your flac2mp3 perl script (or I guess I mean the default values used by lame) so that I can decide if any of these default settings need changing?
