DVDs usually do not have Redbook CD tracks at all. Both the sound and audio are contained in .VOB files with other files (.IFO?) acting as indexes. This is a very different structure. There are methods for getting this audio into WAV format - when I was on Windows I used this guide: http://www.glump.net/dokuwiki/howto/audio_only_dvd_ripping_guide It uses some older programs but worked well. On Linux, I'm using dvd:rip, which can do everything in one step, but it's been unable to rip in 24 bit. -- Mark Lanctot 'Sean Adams' Response-O-Matic checklist, patent pending!'
