1. Regarding The McCartney issue, SlimServer lacks support for ALBUMARTISTSORT, BANDSORT, etc. Look at bug#4584 for details. I would also like to see this fixed.
2. Regarding YEAR tags, most software treats this tag as an "ALBUMYEAR", not a "TRACKYEAR", and SlimServer just follows suit. You could file a bug on this I guess, for when the YEARS on the tracks aren't all the same (SlimServer does a similar thing for compilations when artists don't match, so it's theoretically doable I think). 3.
