Converting FLAC to FLAC isn't going to fix most problem. The only thing
FLAC-to-FLAC is going to fix is minor problems in the container. If
there is an error in the audio portion of the file (the majority of it)
then I'd imagine that you'd just be hiding the error within the new FLAC
file itself.

The best solution is obviously to re-rip. Or find another source for
that particular file.

p.s. I found mp3val (http://mp3val.sourceforge.net/) quite useful for
testing the odd MP3 file I have kicking around
