In fact in some quick tests on a couple of broken FLACs on my system with dBPowerAmp 12, the FLAC-FLAC conversion actually stopped at the error point. Meaning that the outputted file was truncated... not exactly lossless! The best solution is obviously to re-rip. Or find another source for that particular file. p.s. I found mp3val (http://mp3val.sourceforge.net/) quite useful for testing the odd MP3 file I have kicking around -- street_samurai ------------------------------------------------------------------------ street_samurai's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=199 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=38021 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/ripping
