Hi all, This is my first post as I'm new to Squeezebox and Slimserver, so go easy on me...
I am also getting problems with common album names, particularly "Greatest Hits" and I have tried all of the suggestions so far in this thread without any luck, so I'm hoping for some expert assistance from you guys! I have about 8 or 9 albums all titled "Greatest Hits". However, only 4 albums actually appear in the "Home / Albums" view on the SS web interface. 2 of these 4 albums are fine, and contain only the tracks listed by the Artist for that particular Album. The other 2 "Greatest Hits" albums each contain all the tracks from 3 Artists each. This is obviously not what I want. I want all 8 albums to appear in the view, each with their own album art and track listings. ALL my tracks are organised by "Artist\Album\<Track>-<Title>.flac" in the filesystem, without exception. ALL of my music files have the COMPILATION tag entry set to either 0 or 1, as suggested earlier. All of my "Greatest Hits" albums have the BAND tag set to the same as the ARTIST tag. I have tried deleting the "Cache" folder and doing a full "wipe and re-scan" many times, and still this problem occurs. My SS is version 6.5.3 running on CentOS 4.5. I'm really hoping someone can point me in the right direction, or even confirm if this is a known issue. Look forward to hearing from you!
