This problem is EXACTLY what I've been trawling forums, help pages etc etc. to find the answer to.
The problem was brought home to me by a Diana Ross & the Supremes album - "The No 1's" The first 5 or 6 tracks are by "The Supremes", then there are some by "Diana Ross and the Supremes", and the last few are by just "Diana Ross". At first the album appeared three times in a row in my Album list. As mentioned above I'd rather it only appeared once, but when browsing or searching for artists I'd like to be able to use all three artists' names. I've tried switching slimserver settings, renaming files, changing band, arlbum artist tags etc without luck.
