Yes, I use it.  It works just fine.  When I decided to re-rip to FLAC
I used EAC on a few "spare-parts" Windows boxes I slapped together
just for the purpose.  Once that was done, all new discs I receive get
ripped with Max.  I could boot into Windows on my Mac and run EAC but
it's just not worth the trouble.  Max does the job, especially since
I'm mostly feeding it brand new discs now.  I don't think I've ever
used it on a seriously damaged disc, though.
