Hmm I only tested with an m4a file because I didn't have any alac files laying around, but I was under the impression they used the same tag format. I am not sure what will happen with your file now actually, as I'm not actually checking for a tag called 'ARTISTSORT'. I will make an alac file and do some more testing a bit later.
